Nifemi Lasekan

Mrs M.O. Salami-Apempe (née Lasekan) is a professional fine artist, educationist, Christian author, and storyteller. She is the founder of Love Lash Blog and a dedicated advocate for children's moral development. With over 100 folktales written, she seeks to preserve culture while instilling strong values in young minds. She also runs a Christian widows' fellowship and is blessed with wonderful children and grandchildren.

Biography

Mrs M.O. Salami-Apempe (née Lasekan) is a Yoruba woman from Ipele in Owo Local Government Area of Ondo State, Nigeria. She is a professional fine artist and educationist, holding a B.A. in Industrial Design (Textiles) from A.B.U. Zaria and an N.C.E. in Fine Art from the College of Education, Ikere-Ekiti.

She taught Fine Art at Federal Government College, Kaduna, and Federal Government College, Warri, from 1981 to 1996. A prolific storyteller, she has written over 100 folktales, compiled into a book series awaiting publication.

Mrs Salami-Apempe is a Christian author, encourager, and blogger at lovelashblog.com. She also runs a Christian widows’ fellowship. A passionate advocate for children’s moral development, she compiled these folktales to instill strong values and principles in young minds.

She is a widow, blessed with wonderful children and grandchildren.
